EVA’S FARM
Eva has been practicing regenerative farming since 2020 and has been a grantee of the Restore Fund since 2022. She inherited her land from her family and decided it would be a great opportunity to reconnect with nature. Eva and her husband adore trees and have been planting fruits all over their farm. Not only does this boost biodiversity and create a natural barrier, but these perennials also help grasp onto the soil and prevent runoffs.
From preserving various trees to implementing other regenerative practices, the program has delivered many positive results on her 10-year-old farm, for example, cover cropping prevented runoffs and flooding during 2023 September’s heavy rainstorm, and she was able to grow near pest-free spinach (which not many farms in Hong Kong were able to succeed due to hot weather). All of these positive results have fueled Eva’s passion for regenerative practices. She has dedicated her life to farming regeneratively and promoting healthy eating, she is a true advocate of the regenerative movement.
