Despite warmer weather and irregular rainfall, farmer Sze Chung was still able to harvest these French Beans planted in early February, a testament to the crop's health.

Sangwoodgoon grows a variety of beans, and they make a habit of allowing some of the harvest to mature into seeds. Depending on the variety, farmer Sze Chung adds compost and Trichoderma solutions when cultivating the seeds, and sometimes basalt into the ground before sowing. These practices improve the crop’s nutrient absorption at the initial growth stage and increase resilience to pests and diseases.

Previously, quality control of inputs has been a challenge at Sangwoodgoon.
